“Great style has the power to make an immediate impression,” says Jules Power, a woman whose name makes a statement all on its own. Jules Power has been working on her independent brand since graduating from the Ryerson School of Fashion in 1997, but it wasn’t until 2009 that the brand was formally launched.

Born Canadian to a British mother, Jules Power often finds inspiration in the London culture. Her personal and design style are often interchangeable, but always authentic with a twist. She has worked with some of Canada’s most influential retailers: notably Danier Leather, Roots Canada, and Joe Fresh Style. With such a thoughtful repertoire of past experiences, it is evident that Jules Power, the woman and the brand, will be a big name in the global fashion community for years to come.

Fall 2010 marks Jules Power’s first independent showing at LG Fashion Week Beauty by L’Oréal Paris. Her inspiration is a blend of the women she knows, and those she would like to know – from her daughter to Garance Doré. Always one to stay humble while pushing boundaries, what we are most excited about is Jules Power’s inarguable genius with textiles and colours.

It is Jules Power’s simple bohemian elegance that has captured our eyes, and it is her continuous attention to even the smallest of details that has captured our hearts.
